So I'm hoping your year so far has been full of sunshine and joy, mine has started with a bang!

The Tree Show by Cascade Print Workshop

Opening at 2pm on the 26th of April with drinks and canapés, this exhibition runs 2through to the 1st of June 2014 at the Central Goldfields Art Gallery, Neill Street, Maryborough. 

Being opened by Jennifer Kalionis the Director of Castlemaine Art Gallery and Historical Museum, the Tree Show is a diverse collection of works which starts with each artist’s personal interpretation of the tree. The exhibition features some of Australia’s leading contemporary and established print based artists. There are additional feature paintings, prints and sculptures by several of the artists as part of the exhibition. The Cascade Print Workshop has been in operation for over twelve years. In 2013, Jeff Gardner and Kareen Anchen of Cascade invited over 30 artists to be part of The Tree Show, which was included in the Castlemaine State Festival open studios exhibitions.

GALLERY HOURS: Thursday - Sunday 10.00am - 4.00pm

To all those wonderful Melbournites who didn't get the chance to see Editions the first time around, well here's your chance!  From 6:30 - 8pm Wednesday the 19th of March the wonderful boys at TACIT Contemporary will be hosting EDITIONS (redux) and three other great shows.

In gallery 1 is Anne Taylor's 'Alluvial', Gallery 2 has Annabelle Hale's 'Kinglake revisited', in Gallery 3 is Alexandra Oliphant's 'Feelings' and of course Galleries 4 & 5 has mine and 10 other of my all time favourite printmakers work in EDITIONS (redux). So come along along and enjoy the amazing spread these guys allways put on, have a vino and if you feel so inclined BUY SOME GREAT ART!
